How The Cage Works
In Hand Before Preview.
The Cage is not a wish list or a coming-soon teaser. If a card is showing here, it has already passed intake and it is in The Vault.

Accepted and received
The consignor shipped it insured, we signed for it, and it is in our custody. Nothing enters The Cage that is not physically here.

Verified and photographed
Certification number checked against the grading company's own database, holder inspected, then photographed in hand by D&B.

On public preview
You can see it, study the photos, and add it to your watchlist. You cannot bid yet. The watcher count is public, so everyone sees the interest building.

The doors open
At the time D&B sets, the whole drop moves into live auction. Everyone watching gets an alert the moment it happens.
